At Autumn of 1995 we (Ingvar & Malin) started living together at Sydra-kolugil.
We started up with 200 sheeps and 7 seven horses
Today the number of animals has increased a little bit,there about 700 sheeps and
50 horses,two dogs and one cat.
Ingvar bought the farm Sydra-kolugil at age of 21 after he had finished the Agriculture school at Hvanneyri.
Ingvar is born a farmers son and can´t think of living without animals.
Ingvar use horses as a working partner, therefor Ingvar says the most important talent in a horse is
strongness, willingness and courage.



I, Malin is born in Sweden where I started riding at age 6 in a riding school.
In my teens I started to work with arabic horses for some years.
At the age of seventeen, in the autumn of 1993 I decided to try something new.
I went to Iceland working on a farm. I was training young horses during the winter and guiding tourist on horseback during the summertime.
I have participated in many clinics about training young horses based on Parelli and Monty Roberts and so many other clinic´s and know 2009-2011 I´m learning Reiðmaðurinn from the agriculture school of Hvanneyri.
With Reynir Adalsteinsson as head teacher.





We also have two boys, Ragnar Fredrik born 1998 and Claes Hakon born 2002.
