On
Sydra-kolugil we breed for healthy and strong horses.
We breed from mare´s that have been used in our daily work at the farm,
such as round up sheep´s and horses.
some of the mare´s have been competed with good result´s. And also
we have a few judged mare´s, we do try to evaluate the younger mares
from our own breeding.
Our
youngster are brought up in free surrondings with mountains to climb,
marshes and good grazy mountain sides. That gives us strong healhty horses
with good curage.
During winter time the horses are feed out big round bales of hay and
vitamin and salt bucket´s they are regulary dewormed and hoofcared
for and halter trained at young age.
Stallions
that we use is not all the time the most popular. We use stallions after
what fits with that particular mare that we are going to breed each time.

Mósa is 4-gaited highlifting mare with great villingess but still soft
in the reins.
Due to an accident she was never shown and is know in breeding only.
But she was a great working horse, she never said no and could go on all
day rounding up sheeps
and horses. Mósa
gives us fine trail/workinghorses.

Vordis is a little princess and a great joy to ride for anyone with a
little experince.
She is 5-gaited and was shown as a 5 years old and scored 7,94 for building
and 7,71 gaits,overall 7,81.
Then she was shown again at the age of six and now her score is 7,96 for
confirmation and 7,91 for riding abilities, overall 7.93. Vordís
was x-rayed clear
