My own breeding the year of our first borns here at syðra kolugil ,ok I did steel Brunka from my father in law but he didn´t mind I think... anyway Mimír is and old competition horse for the former owner has competed a lot even been to fjórdungsmot and Landsmot in childrens classes.
I bought him back in autumn 2009 when they called and offered him to us, but
we are not allowed to sell him further but we don´t have that in mind.
This is my mount to be ,have him on all clinic´s and in my new education Reiðmaðurinn from the agriculture school of Hvanneyri. He side passes, leg yield's and is a dream to ride, full power and full control all the time considered 4 gaited even thou he did one competition in 5 gait

Hel is a very friendly 5-gaited mare who was easy to train, she is what I want to call a real alround horse.
You can compete on her in tolt and 4 gait.
She is much dressage trained shoulder in, leg yeilding in trot an so on.
She so easy , children could ride her and then she is very strong so Ingvar has used her for horsetrips. To our sorrow Hel got a cronicle infection in her sinews in a back leg.
We decided to breed from her,we got six´s foals and know in 2010 Hel was Empty so we are trying if we can ride her some more as she is a exceptional good 5 gaiter for all kinds of rider me and you and our children, and so far so good

Ingvars most needed ridinghorse when he goes in the highland in the autumn rounding up sheep's and horses for a week make´s a good team together. High spirited and quite difficult to ride so we do not loan him under any circumstances.
Mjölnir is pleased and relaxed with Ingvar as he´s rider so we will have it that way.

Þumall is medium size 5 gaited,with very clear good gaits nice lift he´s training started nice but he always had problem with the bit, the problem grow bigger and bigger until we had a horse that where very stressed and insecure and would run away for any reason,it took us almost 3 years to figure out what the problem was .
we got the answer wolf teeth (had several persons to check he´s teeth before) so around Christmas 2009 we let do the surgery and in February we restarted he´s training first for 1 month and then we started again in June 2010 he is know rehabbing well, doing horse trekking trips this summer and started to be more harmonic and relaxed

Nice looking mare, cute not so big around 137 . Ambatt is 4 gaited with good lift in tolt but don´t lift high in trot she has a very long stride in walk and trot, good canter. Ambatt is not for beginners even thou she is soft on the reins or because of that, she is awake and living so to say great endurance can go on for hours. I love to ride her, very easy in all handling and listens very well to all cue´s.( for sale)

Rispa is a beatiful looking mare she is 5 gaited with lots of tolt has a nice performance under rider.
But she needs a confident rider because of her own lack of courage she started her training in winter 2009 and then she got time of until the winter 2010 we where looking forward to take her to breeding show this spring but she injured herself on the back on her front feet and her lack of self confidense also make it to hard for her . Rispa´s training started again in June and are mostly in horse trips and daily work at the farm to build up her courage
Rispa was x-rayed clear of spavin as 6 year old

Lukka is big 5 gaited mare she carrier herself well under rider she willing and stabile with great speed in her pace.
Lukka got badly kicked in early spring 2009 she got hit in her chest and nose with open wounds and in June 2009 she still hadn´t recover well enough to continue her training so we breed her to Glymur frá innri -skeljabrekka and she got a very nice silver dapple pinto marefoal Lif. Lukka will not be rebreed 2010 as we are looking forward to have her more trained and hopefully we can bring her to a breeding show later on.

Was sold as yearling and after some strange circumstances I bought her back winter2009 and along came her two daughters by Keilir frá Miðsitju and she was in foal aslo with Vökull frá Arbæ a young stallion with excellent pedigree.
So Nattrún isn´t trained for riding as she has had foals all the time but in early 2011 after weaning her stallion foal that she gave birth to in June 2010 we are looking forward to train her,she is 5 gaited very soft and big movements.
Nattrún is pretty small with good neck and legs hoof´s we hope she will suit for young riders later on.
