Visual Effects - Digital Character Animation

Ari animated the subtistude character for Níls. In the final scene we needed computer animated figure so our beloved friend Níls didn´t have to throw himself off a cliff.

Arnar is a hardcore star wars fan and created the movie as final project in Reykjavík Multimedia school.

Actress

Áslaug plays the sith Witch Katana. She was studying in Reykjavík Multimedia School and agreed to play the part for us. She has expirience from modeling so she did a great job in front of the camera.

Costume Designer

Brynhildur was studying clothing design and was brought in to the project by her friend Katrín wich had also studyied the same matter.

Vidual Effects - Digital Character Animation

Einar animated substitute character for Arnar. In one scene Arnar is strangled and hangs loose in the air. With no wires in the green screen room, we decided to make this shot digitally and it came out better then we hoped.

Animator

We only had five weeks to compete the film. This was a final project in the school so Arnar had to turn it in. 3 days for duetime Arnar asked Eyþór to animate one space scene in order to finish the project in proper time. Eyþór animated the scene were Keenel flys his shuttle.

Art Department

Georg is an artist who paints alot so he was the right man to finish the poster. In order to get more star wars feeling in to the poster, Georg painted over the photographs to make the final touch.

Camera Operator - Rotoscope

Helgi Már supplied the video camera and filmed every single frame of the film. He also played a significant role during the end process of the film. He rotoscoped over 1000 frames of sky, eyes and masks.

Costume Designer

Katrín has excelent backround in clothing design. She attended it in school and worked for a clothing designer. Katrín picked out the fabricks as well asthe colors for the robes and the costumes.

Actor

Níls was involved with the project from the beginning. The first thing that Arnar did was to ask Nils if he could play in the film. When he agreed the process of making this film began. Níls has martial arts backround and is highly skilled in sword fighting.

Actor

Pavel was the second man Arnar contacted. The first consept was to make a film with two characters in a lightsaber duel, Pavel vs. Níls, but when we saw how good thoose two guys were, we took the opportunity and made something bigger. Pavel is in martial arts.

Art Department

Siggi did a great job in bringing director's vision to the screen. He drew the hole storyboard wich made things much easier for camera operator Helgi and director Arnar. Siggi has good design backround and currently works as a designer for an internet company.

Costume maker - Hairstyle - Makeup

Svanhildur has good backround in Makeup and hairdressing. She did all the makeup and hairstyle's in the film. She also did all the robes, worn by the actors. It is funny, though we had her, we decided to paint most of Pavel's face in CG to save some money.
