"Píla"

Píla kom til okkar eiginlega fyrir tilviljun í júlí 1998. Við vorum að leita að hreinræktuðum hundi og búin að ákveða aðra tegund. Þegar okkur var svo bent á hvolpa af tegundinni Shetland Sheepdog var ekki aftur snúið. Við vorum svo heppin að fá að velja úr 5 hvolpum, sem voru þeir fyrstu sem fæddust af þessari tegund hér á landi. Ræktandi Pílu er Agnes Ýr með Ýrar ræktunina. 
Píla er 38 cm, mahony sable að lit. Vel byggð með glæsilegar hreyfingar.
Píla er venjulega mjög róleg heimafyrir, en hefur gaman að Hundafimi (Agility) og hreinlega elskar að smala hestum og kindum. Píla er mjög fljót að læra.

Pila came to us unexpectedly in july 1998. We were looking for a purebreed dog and had decided to get another breed. When we were told about puppys of the breed Shetland Sheepdog, and saw them, there where no turning back for us. We were so lucky to be able to choose from 5 puppys, witch were from the first sheltie litter here in Iceland. Pila´s breeder is Agnes Ýr at Kennel Yrar.
Pila is 38 cm and with beautiful mahony sable coat. She is well build and have excellennt movments.
Pila is usually very calm at home, but like´s agility a lot and is very found of herding horses and sheeps.
