The Keflavik NAS Flying Club has flown it's last flight after serving the
NAS KEF safely for 39 years. The US military has left Iceland and therefore ended the KNFC legacy.
Our Aircraft N44645 has moved to a local address and will be well looked after there.
We would like to thank our members and management for all the great years especially our Chief
Instructor/Manager Mr. Sindri Steingrimsson our Mechanic Mr. Otto Jorgensen our Treasurer Mr.
Patrick Winkler and also our IA Mr. Robert Ricchini. Without these fine individuals the club would
not have survived past the year 1995.
We also like to thank Mr. John Shaw, the Flying Club Program Manager, for all his support through the years.
